Due to my address change I never received a letter from your department informing me of the approaching expiration date, I have updated your office with all of my current mailing information. I am ready for my final building inspection upon a final mechanical. I realize that I've made several mistakes with the development of this project entirely due to my inexperience in building and I apologize for any incontinence my lack of experience may have cost. When Toni Morelli and myself Initially applied for permits from your department we were never told that a General Contractors License was required. We were even issued the permits without a request for a License. Now that I have come to the point of the final inspections this issue arises. I can't help but feel a little discouraged and targeted. Perhaps this was the Intent. I just simply want to complete this very costly and time - consuming project and move on. Your immediate response would be greatly appreciated. Per the Uniform Building Code and/or Uniform Mechanical Code, every permit issued by the building official under the provision of this code shall expire by limitation and become null and void lithe building or work authorized by such permit is not commenced within 180 days from the data of such permit, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work is commenced for a period of 180 days.
