Discuss Transportation Engineering issues that will be top priorities for the 2007 Transportation Committee
and select Council meetings.
BACKGROUND
The 2007-2012 Financial Planning Model and Capital Improvement Program was adopted on December 11,
2006, and includes numerous projects that are slated for design and construction in 2007. Also, numerous
development projects are in the works that have indirect impacts on our engineering program and projects.
DISCUSSION
The following are potential agenda issues very likely to be brought forward to Committee:

· Southcenter Access Improvements (Klickitat Dr/Southcenter Pkwy)
· Traffic Signal Interconnect Program & Intelligent Transportation System (ITS)
. Tukwila International Blvd Phases 2 & 3
. Pavement Management System (PMS) update
. Transit Center/Andover Park West improvements
. TUC Pedestrian Bridge
. Residential Street Ratings update
. Traffic Calming
. Annual Overlay Program & Boeing Access Road/East Marginal Way intersection paving
. Annual Traffic Counts update
. Annual Bridge Inspection & Bridge Repair Program
. Boeing Access Road Bridge grant
. Interurban Ave (S 143rd St to Fort Dent Way)
. Southcenter Parkway Extension & Tukwila South Development
. TOC and staffmg
