Madden MacDonald - Miller Phone (206) 768 -3932 Fax Phone 206 768 - 3933 I REMARKS: ❑ Urgent ❑ For your review ❑ Reply ASAP ® Please Comment Dear Ken: Job Name: COSTCO Permit #: M98 -0194 I am following up with our conversation based on the attached letter. The existing building which Costco occupies has and independent boiler room which meets the Uniform Building Code section: 302.5. The room Is separated by full height 2 -hour rated walls. The existing boilers are gas fired. The new boilers are equivalent replacement gas fired boilers. The boiler room has the high and low combustion air opening. The new boilers will have power exhaust fans to sufficiently discharge the flue gases through the existing flue stack. The new boilers meet the Washington State Energy Code for efficiencies. Per the conversation regarding the incomplete floor plans, we had discussed that this is a giant warehouse with the boilers located in the Southwest corner of the building. The person to contact at Costco for direction and assistance is David Pepe. 206 -575 -9191 Please call me or fax me if you have any questions regarding the above information. Thank you, Jay W. The new bolters will have power exhaust fans to sufficiently discharge the flue gases through the existing flue stack. The new boilers meet the Washington State Energy Code for efficiencies. Per the conversation regarding the Incomplete floor plans, we had discussed that this is a giant warehouse with the boilers located in the Southwest corner of the building. The person to contest at Costco for direction and assistance Is David Pepe. 206-575-9191 Please call me or fax me if you have any questions regarding the above information. Thank you, mcrg-oP4 Jay W.
