H.V.A.C. units rated at greater than 2,000 cfm require auto - shutdown devices. These devices shall be separately zoned in the alarm panel and local U.L. central station supervision is required. (City Ordinance #1742) Duct smoke detectors shall be capable of being reset from the alarm panel. (City Ordinance #1742) Dedicated fire alarm system circuit breaker(s) shall be equipped with a mechanical lockout device. (NFPA 72 (1- 5.2.8.2)) All new fire alarm systems or modifications to existing systems shall have the written approval of The Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau.
