We will cap off the supply air ductwork feeding the three diffusers, thus terminating the air flow. Even without the supply air, the Lobby will have adequate ventilation due to the size of the double storefront entry doors, constant use of the four doors leading into the Lobby and the operable pass through relite. The storefront entry doors are +1- 40 SF in the 400 SF Lobby, thus exceeding the 1/20 ratio of the UBC. The constantly opening and closing of the four doors will allow ventilation of the small Lobby. The fire -rated pass through relite window is normally left in the "open" position during business hours, thus allowing air transfer from the adjacent office area. The Contractor's mechanical subcontractor, Performance Air, will bring you the "on site" approved mechanical permit drawings for modification and your approval.
