Permit Conditions:
1. No changes will be made to the plans un l es, s approved by the
Architect or Engineer and the Tukwila Buiiding Division.
2. All permit:., inspection records., and approved plans shall be
available at the job site prior to the start of any con-
struction. These documents are to be maintained and avail -
able until final: inspection :approval is granted.
3. All construction to be done in conformance, with approved
plans and requirements of the Uniform Building Code (1994
Edition). as amended,, Uniform Mechanical Code (1994 Edition) ,
and Washington '.:State Energy Code (1994 Edition).
4. MANUFACTURERS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS REOUIRED ON . SITE
FOR THE, BUILDING INSPECTORS REVIEW.
5. An economizer is required to be installed with this roof -top
unit.' Air .economi -er shall be of automatically modulating
outside and, return air dampers to provide 100% of the design
supply air as outside air to reduce or eliminate the need
for mechanical c o o l i n g . WSEG 1423

7. If ;'temperature control device is to be replaced with the new
unit, the following condition will apply The
system shall be equipped with automatic control capable of
accomplishing a reduction of energy use trough control set-
back or.,equipment shutdown during periods of non -use or alt-
ernate use of the spaces served by the system. The automat-
ic controls shall have a minimum seven -day clock and be
capable of :being set for seven different day types per week.

L. Equipment requiring electrical connections of more than 50
volts shall have a positive means of disconnect adjacent to
and in sight from the . equipment served. A 120 volt recept-
acle shall be located within 25- feet of the equipment for
service and maintenance purposes.' The receptacle need not
be located on the same level as the equipment.
9. Electrical permits shall be obtained through the Washington
State Division of Labor and Industries and all electrical
work will be inspected by that agency (248-6630).
10. Plumbing permits shall be obtained through the Seattle -King
County Department of Public Health. Plumbing will be
inspected by that agency, including all gas piping
(296 - 4722) .
11. Readily accessible access to roof mounted equipment is
required.
12. Validity of Permit. The issuance of a permit or approval of
plans, specifications, and computations shall not be .con-
':trued to be a permit for, or an approval of, any violation
of any of the provisions of the building code or of any
give authority to viot or cancel the provisions, of this

1. Cooling Performance is rated at 95 F ambient, 80 F entering dry bulb, 67 F entering wet bulb and nominal cfm listed. Gross capacity dons not include the effect of Ian motor heat.
