The Building Official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 days upon written request by the applicant as defined in Section 304(d) of the Uniform Mechanical Code (current edition). Provide a minimum of two, 4A 40B extinguishers within 30' of your spray booth and one, 4A 40B extinguisher within 30' of your paint mixing booth. 2. All electrical work and equipment shall conform strictly to the standards of The National Electrical Code. (NFPA 70) (Seperate permit is required) Each circuit breaker shall be legibly marked to indicate it's purpose. (NEC 110 -22) 3. Material safety data sheets for all hazardous materials on the premise shall be readily available on site for emergency personnel. (UFC 80.106) 4. No smoking signs shall be conspicuously posted. 5. No welding signs shall be conspicuously posted. 6. A permit is required for the use, storage, handling or sale of flammable or combustible liquids. (UFC Article 79) 7. A permit is required to conduct a spraying or dipping operation utilizing flammable liquids.
