BUILDING OWNER / AUTHORIZED AGENT If the applicant is other than the owner, registered architect/engineer, or contractor licensed by the State of Washington, a notarized letter from the property owner authorizing the agent to submit this permit application and obtain the permit will be required as part of this submittal. VALUATION OF CONSTRUCTION The valuation is for the work covered by this permit and must be filled in by the applicant. This figure is used for budget reporting purposes only and not to calculate your fees. EXPIRATION OF PLAN REVIEW Applications for which no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application shall expire by limitation. The Building Official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180 days upon written request by the applicant as defined in Section 304(d) of the Uniform Mechanical Code (current edition). Job No. 9203—TOW Dear Mr. Bacskai: Addition of the roof mounted incinerator at the location shown on the attached plan does not appear to require any modification to the existing roof framing. The analysis of the framing used the best available information, however this did not include the material specifications for the existing framing. Therefore the analysis is based on a comparison of existing versus new loadings after the roof mount unit is in place and shows a slight increase in stress. The stress increase is, in our opinion, within reasonable limits. Per Cello Bag, the framing in this area has not been modified or had any other roof mounted units placed upon it. No additional load should be added in the future to this area, as it is at capacity. The unit should be mounted in the position shown on the attached plans and be supported on a pressure treated 4X10 hf #2 sleeper frame as shown on sheet 8 of the attached calculations.
