This letter will confirm our June 11, 1985 meeting. The Fire
Marshal's office has reviewed the attached plans, dated June
11, 1985 and numbered one through four. The purpose of this
review was to establish Fire Marshal approval to repair fire
damaged portions of the building.
. Please be advised the attached plans were reviewed and approved,
for fire code compliance, with the following understanding:
1. The paint shop is an H -2 occupancy.
2. All H -2 rooms or buildings in excess of 200 square feet
must have not less than two legal, swinging exit doors.
3. Paint spray booth shall comply with Article 45 of the
Uniform Fire Code.
4. Paint drying tube shall comply with Articles 45 and G2
of the Uniform Fire Code.
5. All areas in paint shops one and two, where flammable vapors
. may be present, shall have electrical wiring suitable for
a Class I, Division I area.
6. Mechanical ventilation is or will be provided at not less
than six changes of air per hour.
7. All applicable occupancy separation walls set forth in
U.B.C. Table 5 -B are provided.

Fire Prevention Bureau and are acceptable with the followiDd
