RE: Tukwila West Landscape Irrigation Plan - Exempt Water Meter
Dear Mr. Berglund:
Per my letter of December 23, 1985, Public Works approved a
landscape irrigation plan that did not indicate to our knowledge
any exempt water meter. However, I have been informed through
the Finance Department that an exempt water meter was installed.
Prior to use of this exempt water meter, your plan shall be so
revised and four (4) sets submitted to me for review for final
approval, and an exempt water meter permit issued (no fee) to
allow for this exempt water meter to operate.
If you have any questions regarding this matter please do not
hesitate to call me at 433 -1856.
Sincerely,
-7

Subject: 20 Minute Fire Resistive Wood Door
Dear Mr. Hill:

CITYOFTIJX i
own
Following our phone discussion of January 23, 1986, we are enclosing details
of the frames installed in the 1 -hour rated corridor partitions of the above
referenced project. Also attached is information for similar details for 20
minute fire protection wood frames by 1CB0 Commitee Research Report and City
of Seattle amendments to the UBC. Seattle has amended this portion of the
UBC for an unlisted door frame which does not require the frame to bear a
label. Note that the detail for their. door frame is exactly the same as used
in Tukwila West.
Please review the above referenced details in context with the fact that we
are providing the same built up sections and degree of protections as required
to meet the code and as an acceptable rated assembly.
Very truly yours,
;K4e6.94.-

Pursuant to our phone conversation today regarding the above subject matter,
LPN is submitting this letter per your request.
LPN submitted working drawings to the City on May 8, 1985 and these drawings
indicated screens around the roof top HVAC unit. The owner prefers to delete
these screens. The unit is a self- contained or package type and will be
located near the center of the building above the electrical /telephone rooms.
Also, the building is in an industrial area.
We would appreciate your review and response to this request as soon as
possible. Please contact me should you need further information.
