Mayor Keith Jorgenson 14800 Interurban Avenue South Tukwila, WA 98188 Re: 12 x 20 storage structure Dear Mr. Jorgenson: Per your request, an investigation inspection was made on the above subject structure and property on July 30, 1985. Due to this issue pending within the City Attorney's office, this department will work concurrently to obtain compliance. The inspection resulted in the following areas in need of correction: 1. Size and placement of this structure requires a building permit and various other approvals from the City's agencies. 2. The building is classed as a type V -N, B -2 structure and, therefore, must conform to the Uniform Building Codes. 3. Structurally, the building framing appears inadequate. Prior to use and /or relocation, plans, specs and details would need to be submitted to the City for processing of a building permit and approval by the Board of Architectural Review. Use and /or work on this structure must discontinue until all City approvals are given. Since the City Attorney is currently taking action to bring all of the existing storage sheds into compliance with City ordinances and regulations, the subject structure cannot be separated from this action. Site and landscaping plans and building details are required of all of the structures for review by City staff and the Board of Architectural Review.
