Exit hardware and marking must meet the requirements of Uniform Fire Code Sections 12.104 and 12.114. Exit doors shall be openable from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort. (UFC 12.104b) 2. Maintain sprinkler protection for all enclosed areas. (NFPA 13,4 - 1.1.1) All modifications to sprinkler systems shall have the written approval of the Washington Surveying and Rating Bureau, Factory Mutual Engineer- ing or Industrial Risk Insurers, then by the Tukwila Fire Department. No work shall commence without approved drawings. (City Ordinance 41141 and NFPA 13, 1 -9.1) 3. In order to provide you with the fastest police and fire protection under emergency conditions, please post your suite, room or apartment number in a conspicuous place near the main entry door.
