The total number of fire extinguishers required for your establishment is calculated at one extinguisher for each 3000 sq. ft. of area. The extinguisher(s) should be of the "All Purpose" (2A, 10 B :C) dry chemical type. Travel distance to any fire extinguisher must be 75' or less. (NFPA 10, 3 -1.1 and UFC 10.301b) 2. (NFPA 10, 1 -6.9) 3. Exit hardware and marking must meet the requirements of Uniform Fire Code Sections 12.104 & 12.114. 4. Local UL Central Station Supervision is required per UFC 10.310. 5. All exterior components of sprinkler systems should be painted RED. This includes: Post indicator valves (PIV), outside stem & yoke (OSY), wall indicator valves (WIV) and Fire Department connection (FDC). 6. There shall be maintained on the premises a supply of spare sprinklers (never less than 6) so that any sprinklers that have operated or been damaged in any way may promptly be replaced. Dear Mr. Storseth: This letter is to follow up on requirements of building permit #4146 for building "0" of Fostoria Industrial Park. All of the following items must be satisfied prior to a certificate of occupancy being issued: 1. The boundary line adjustment must be completed, reducing the access easement to forty feet. 2. A long term lease running with the life of Building D must be obtained from the state for the right -of -way in front of the subject building. 3. A landscaping plan for the 15 foot required landscape yard must be submitted and approved. 4. A revised site plan that shows a minimum of two loading spaces, and dumpster location. An elevation of the dumpster enclosure is also required. It is a concern of ours regarding the State right -of -way. Failure to obtain a long term lease will require a revised site plan that shows actual property line and fifteen feet of front yard landscaping accordingly.
