Our comments follow: Structural 1. Provide structural calculations. 2. Call for special inspection of concrete. This requires a letter to the building official naming the inspection company. 3. Call out ASTM designation of bolts. 4. Shop drawings and structural notes do not match for glu-lams. Include all combination symbols used. 5. Show adequacy of 10' -0" opening in existing wall. 6. What is the 20 psf live load called out in the design data? Ordinance 1. West wall is in violation of Section 1709. 2. No other violations were noted. Please call if you have any questions. BOX 117 • KENMORE, WASHINGTON 98028 '• 485.8558 RE: Sidewalk Construction Skarbos Warehouse Addition Dear Mr. Sneva: C MJ•NESC•.253BW On September 30, 1985, we made an application for a Building Permit to construct an addition to the Skarbo's Furniture Warehouse on 345 Andover Park East. Due to the size of the addition, Chapter 11.64 requires side- walk construction. At the present time there are no sidewalks in the subject area and it is my understanding that a sidewalk plan has not been completed, for this area. Also I have been informed that the funding for sidewalk construc- tion has not been determined. Skarbo Investment is not opposed to the sidewalk construction but due to the above facts they are requesting a waiver or delay in construction of sidewalks on Andover Park East and also Treck Drive. When a sidewalk plan is completed and equitable funding established, Skarbo Investment will participate. Very truly yours, M. J. NESS CONSTR Steven J.
