BUILDING OWNER/AUTHORIZED AGENT If the applicant is other than the owner, registered architect/engineer, or contractor licensed
by the State of Washington, a notarized letter from the property owner authorizing the agent to submit this permit
application and obtain the permit will be required as part of this submittal.
VALUATION OF CONSTRUCTION The valuation is for the work covered by this permit and must be filled in by the applicant. This
figure is used for budget reporting purposes only and not to calculate your fees.
EXPIRATION OF PLAN REVIEW Applications for which no permit is issued within 180 days following the date of application shall
expire by limitation. The Building Official may extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding 180
days upon written request by the applicant as defined in Section 304(d) of the Uniform Mechanical Code (current
edition). No application shall be extended more than once.

The initial review of your mechanical permit application has been completed. This letter
is to inform you that those parts of the mechanical system(s) which are altered or replaced
shall comply with the Washington State Nonresidential Energy Code (WSNEC), 1994 first
edition. To this end, it will be necessary to document the requirements on the plans. The
following comments are applicable, and indicate the information that is required.
1. Heat pumps and packaged terminal air conditioners shall have a minimum
performance at specified rating conditions not less than the values shown in Table

of the tenant improvement permit application. At this time the decision has not been
made to provide an automatic fire sprinkler system for the building or to install a one hour
fire resistive roof - ceiling assembly . In the event that the one hour roof - ceiling assembly is
proposed and subsequently approved by Tukwila Building Division, fire dampers will be
required as specified in the ceiling listing. Coordination of this issue with the other
revisions will eliminate further need for revised plans.
