WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of RCW Chapters 35.77 and 47.26 as amended, the City Council of the City of Tukwila has previously adopted a Transportation Improvement Program and thereafter periodically modified said Transportation Improvement Program by resolution; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the work accomplished under said program, determined current and future City street and arterial needs and, based upon these findings, has prepared a Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program for the ensuing six calendar years (2015-2020); and WHEREAS, on June 9, 2014, a public hearing was held regarding the City's Six- Year Transportation Improvement Program; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Program Adopted. A six-year Transportation Improvement Program for the calendar years 2015-2020 is hereby adopted. Section 2. Filing of Program. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a copy of this resolution, together with the exhibit attached hereto, with the Secretary of Transportation and the Transportation Improvement Board of the State of Washington.
