Tenant "F -F" plans.
Dear Mr. Ruppert:
In reviewing the above mentioned project plans, please note
the following items:
1. Please have the McCann company explain, by letter,
the intended use and proposed contents of this
area. (i.e.:flammable liquids, vehicles, weld-
ing, etc.)
2. Motor vehicle housing is not allowed unless the
• area is made to meet requirements for F -1 occupancy
per Sec. 1102 of the U.B.C.
Fire extinguishers shall be provided per NFPA #10,
as a minimal requirement.
Extinguishers shall be located so as to be in
plain view( if at all possible). If not in plain
view, they shall be identified with a sign stat-
ing "FIRE EXTINGUISHER" with an arrow pointing.
If the color of extinguishers is other than red,
they shall be provided with a background or mount-
ing board, red in color, not less than 2 square
feet in size.
Hose station coverage shall be maintained. This
may necessitate the adding on an additional hose
rack. All plans for sprinkler, hydrant & standpipe
systems shall first be approved by the Washington
Survey and Rating Bureau, then by the Tukwila Fire
Department.
Per UFC Sec. 10.104 (b) "All doors in or leading
to exits shall be maintained openable from the
inside without the use of a key or any special
knowledge or effort at all times when the build-
ing or area served thereby is occupied ".
