Per UBC Section 1001, this occupancy should be defined as an E -2. Per Table 5 -C, and E -2 of 3 -N construction in a Fire Zone 3, may be Only 3733 sq. ft. The area increase allowed for sprinklers is not allowed per Section 506(c)2. In view of these items, I suggest to you that the building permit be revoked. 2. Two dry chemical extinguishers rated at least 20 -BTC are required.
