Dear Mr. Ruppert:
In reviewing the above mentioned project plans, please note
the following items:
1. The rear door from the building is a required
emergency exit and shall be posted as such.
2 . Per UBC Sec. 3303 (c), "Exit doors shall be
openable from the inside without the use of
a key or any special knowledge or effort."
All doors, including exits shall be identified
per OSHA, Section 1910.37 (q).
The extinguisher shown as furnished shall be
2A, 10 B -C dry - chemical type.

Gentlemen:
We have reviewed the structural portions of the proposed 7 -11 Store at
14057 Interurban Avenue South for compliance with Chapters 23 thru 29
of the 1973 Edition of the Uniform Building Code, and here are our
comments:
1. 2,500 PSI concrete requires special inspection per Section 305
of the U.B.C.
2 . Roof trusses should be designed for a 25 PSF snow load.
3. Anchor bolts (3/4" 0 @ 24" O.C.) in the 3 x 6 ledger along the
back wall are overstressed with a 25 PSF snow load.

Subject: Revisions to drawings for 7- Eleven Store in Tukwila
Pursuant to our telephone conversation this morning, we have reviewed the
subject plans. The following are revisions to be made to the drawings:.
1. On Sheet A -4, General Note Number 6, change roof design live load from
20 PSF to 25 PSF.
2. On Sheet A-4, Concrete Note Number 1, change 2500 PSI to 2000 PSI.
3. On Sheet A-4, Spot Detail X, change 3/4" bolts in 3x6 ledger from
24" on center to 18" on center.
This letter is to be attached to the drawings.
