BASIC ROOM - Approx 15'..x30' with 9' ceiling and a single entry door: A 2nd en ry door shall be framed in the one far wall for.future use. Up to ten 2x4 overhead light fixtures, ten AC convenience outlets, 8 exhaust grills, emergency. lights, exit sign shall be installed. All walls and ceilings to be fully insulated. CEILING - Shall be a conventional 2x4 T -bar grid hung from the roof. One of the 2x4 grids shall be centered in. the exact centerline of the room length. The grid shall begin at the lunch room wall in 4 -foot increments. The first ceiling filter will be hung in the center line grid in the first slot located 8 feet.from the lunch room wall. All overhead lights shall be located in slots adjacent to the filter for ease of access. Weight of filters is 32 pounds. Be sure guy wires can handle combined weight of fil- ter and light cluster. WALLS - Shall be of standard wood /metal std construction with a 9 -foot iinnEerr'ior height. Interior shoet rock panels shall have a smooth finish with only light texturing. An epoxybased_paint shall be used to finish the walls_Eight return air grills with shut -otf louvers shall be equally spaced near the_bottom of the long walls. The grills shall be 4 "x12" with the bottom of each grill located 9" above the floor. Each grill shall ac- cess a single wall chase. Each wall chase accessed by a grill shall use metal ducting closed at the bottom and running up the chase for connection to the 8" return air lines. AC duplex convenience outlets shall be equally spaced with 4.each on the.long walls and 2 each on the short walls. The entry door shall be a metal clad exterior type.with magnetic weatherstrip- ping for seal. A second door entry shall be framed only, in the far wall. FLOOR - The flooring shall use Armstrong Medintech No. 86416..A11 seams shalt be heat welded. .A 6" self -cove along the walls will be used.to seal the floor to wall interface. Door entry ghall be feathered if required. All walls must be fully painted prior to-floor installation. BLOWER SYSTEM - A 2400 CFM blower system will be located above a corner of the.lunch room. The blower motor will be housed in a 2'x2'x4'. constructed metal box. The blower motor will be a 4- speed:Dayton 7F734 rated at 230 VAC single phase ( 208 VAC is O.K.). The switch shall be located on the outside wall below the motor. The box.shall contain a 2 "x24 "x24" filter with side access and removal from the same wall /ceiling location as the switch. Two shut -off ports shall be mounted on_the box to measure the drop across the filter using a Dwyer magnehelic gauge. The filter will be located at the pressure port of the box to pre - filter the_air to the ceiling'HEPA filter. _18 "_ducts shall be used for pressure & return lines. Three 10" drops will ,service the HEPA filters. The last drop for the.third filter will be capped off until the filter i.s installed in the future. The return air will use .8" lines from the top of the eight wall chases. They will common.in a single box which has an 18" line returning to the blower box. An 8" duct with ad- justable damper shall also be installed au the blower box oj.the return side to supply make -up air from the outsiTY O� warehouse area if required.
