SUBJECT: Police Department and Fire Department 2nd Quarter, 2014 Report
BACKGROUND
The Police Department and the Fire Department would like to keep the Finance and
Safety Committee better informed as to public safety and policing issues within the city.
This report is for the second quarter of 2014.
DISCUSSION
During the presentation, we will discuss the 2nd quarter highlights, statistics for both
Police and Fire, and the Police Department's strategies to reduce crime in Tukwila.
RECOMMENDATION
The report is for information and discussion only. The Finance and Safety Committee is
not being asked to make any decisions.
