When we originally did the job, we sent a letter with the permit to Mr. Heyman. The letter requested that we be contacted to schedule the inspection. At that time he never responded and we made follow -up calls requesting that he contact us. He did so in November and indicated that he wasn't ready for the inspection for some reason. We made further attempts to schedule but it was not done from the homeowner. I did contact him today, and he indicated that he is out of the state until June possibly. Therefore, I am requesting the extension at this time since there isn't any access to the property until he returns. Should you have any questions, please feel free to call me. Per the International Codes, Uniform Plumbing/Fuel Gas Code and/or the National Electrical Code, every permit issued by the Building Division under the provisions of the code shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building or work authorized by such permit is not commenced within 180 days from the date of such permit issuance, or if the building or work authorized by such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the work is commenced for a period of 180 days. Based on the above, you are hereby advised to: Call the City of Tukwila Inspection Request Line at 206 - 431 -2451 to schedule for the next or final inspection.
