The Contractor shall be governed by all conditions as indicated in the Construction Drawings, Specifications for the building, and the Specifications for the Tenant Improvements. B. Notify the Space Planner of all Conflicts. 0 4 3. THE DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS A. Structural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical and fire protection drawings are supplementary to these drawings. The Contractor shall coordinate 11. the work of each consulting engineer with these drawings and the Tenant Improvement Specifications and shall notify the Space Planner of all discrepancies with a written request for clarification. Any work installed in conflict with these drawings or the Tenant Improvement Specifications shall be corrected by the Contractor at no expense to the Owner, Tenant or the Space Planner. 4. DIMENSIONS A. All information shown on the drawings relative to existing conditions is given as the best present knowledge but without guarantee of accuracy. The Contractor shall field verify existing conditions and dimensions and shall notify the Space Planner of any discrepancies or conditions adversely affecting the design prior to proceeding with the item of work affected. B. Dimensions on the plans are typically to the finish face of partitions or to the center line of columns. C. Door and cased openings without location dimensions are to be six (6) inches from the faces of the adjacent partition or centered between partitions. D. Locate partitions that are not dimension, flush and square with the existing structure or on the centerline of a window mullion as shown. 5. DO NOT SCALE DRAWINGS A. The Contractor shall use dimensions shown on the drawings and actual field measurements. Notify the Space Planner of any discrepancies found. 6. ABBREVIATIONS A. Throughout the drawings are abbreviations which are in common use. The list of abbreviations provided is not intended to be complete or representative of conditions or materials actually used on the project. The Space Planner will define the intent of any in question. 7. COORDINATION A. The General Contractor shall be responsible for the coordination and verification of the work of all trades to assure compliance with the drawings and specifications. 8. FIRE PROTECTION A. The Carpet Contractor shall furnish and install rubber reducer strips at locations where carpet and resilient flooring meet. Provide color samples for approval. ELECTRICAL /TELEPHONE NOTES The Electrical Contractor shall be responsible to maintain compliance with all codes and obtain all necessary permits. All deviations from dimensioned locations must be approved by the Space Planner. The Electrical Contractor shall verify the location of each core drill with the existing structure, piping, conduit, etc. and shall notifying the Space Planner of any conflicts or obstructions. All core drill locations will be provided by the Space Planner.
