ORDINANCE NO. 372
AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES AND COMPENSATIONS OF OFFICERS
AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKtILA:
Section 1. That the salaries and compensations of the various
officers and employees of the City of Tukwila are hereby set and
fixed as follows, for the year 1963:
Superintendent, River Improvement and Drainage 210,00 per month
Building Inspector 42.00 per month
City Clerk 315.00 per month
Councilmen 10.00 per month
for each Councilman
Mayer 100.00 per month
Superintendent of Parks and City Hall 261.50 per month
City Treasurer 80.00 per month
Chief of Police 531.30 per month
Captain, of Police 518.70 per month
Police Patrolmen 450.00 per month
not to exceed two Police Patrolmen
Municipal judge 100.00 per month
Part time Municipal Judge 25.00 per week
not to exceed two weeks per year
Superintendent of Street Department 122.83 per month
Superintendent of Water Department 126.0Q per month
Superintendent of Sewer Department 106.50, per month
Assistant Superintendent of Street Department 102.83 per month
Assistant Superintendent of Water Department 115.50 per month
Assistant Superintendent of Sewer Department 62.16 per month
Water Department Collector 90.00 per month
Sewer Department Collector 30.00 per month
Municipal Court Clerk 150.00 per month
Police Clerk and Matron 150.00 per month
Extra labor, on a sliding scale from 1.50 per hour
to 3.00 per hour
not to exceed, in General Government 600.00 per year
not to exceed, in the Park Department 400.00 per year
not to exceed, in the Street Department 4000.00 per year
not to exceed, in the Water Department 2400.00 per year
not to exceed, in the Sewer Department 464.00 per year
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict are
hereby repealed.
Section 1. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Council and approved by the Mayor this day
of 11.ber 1962.
