Exit doors shall be openable from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort. (UFC 12..1O4b) Exit hardware and marking must meet the requirements of. Uniform Fire Code Sections 12.104 & 12.114. 2. Maintain sprinkler protection for all enclosed areas. (NFPA 13, 4- 1.1.1) All modifications to sprinkler systems shall have the written approval of the Washington Surveying & Rating Bureau, Factory Mutual Engineering or Industrial Risk Insurers, then by the Tukwila Fire Department.
