Per our discussion, your firm has been requested to provide a remedy in the fdrm of either an,:extension of the public storm system from either Interurban Ave. S. or an extension from the newly constructed public storm system. :.Requested is this plan be-submitted next Monday for Public Works Department review for approval. Also, per our discussion with Ms. Rivero, owner of the property to the south, this plan will be reivewed with the netghborning property to obtain the necessary access to work wtthin their property. Of course if access is denied, then an alternative destgn providing storm drainage to accomodate only that portion of drainage crossing into the public R/W will be allowed. Twenty -four hours prior the beginning the work, the contractor shall apply for and obtain the follwing permits: 1. Hauling Permit - Permit Fee $50.00 $2,000.00 bond, certificate of insurance and route map shall be pro- vided at the time of application for this permit. 2. Curb Cut / Access / Sidewalk Permit (Permit Fee $25.00) The concrete apron will be per the City's Standard Plan for concrete apron. This apron is part of the sidewalk system to be turned over the the City. 3. Channelization / Striping / Signing in Public Right -of -Way (Permit Fee $25.00) The City's standard sidewalk and curb and gutter plans shall be used for the construction of the new concrete sidewalk and curb and gutter along South 147th Street from Interurban Avenue South to Maul Avenue. 4. Sanitary Side Sewer - Regular Connection Charge $170.00 Special connection assessment fee is waived by prior structure on the existing lot, assuming original contribution to the development of public mains by prior development. The sanitary side sewer shall go directly into the existing sewer manhole and match invert grade unless an existing stub exists. Pipe bedding under Note 15 on SD -2 shall be changed from Class "F" to Class "A -B ". A cleanout shall be provided in the following locations: at the exit point from the building structure and at all vertical and horizontal bends and junctions. Water Meter Permit (1" Water Meter Deposit Fee = $1,550.00) (Special connection fees are waived by the original development and the development of additional water mains crossing Interurban Avenue South to be turned over to the City at the time of completion of these mains.) The new water meter address is 14600 Interurban Avenue South. 6. Water Main Extension (Permit Fee $25.00) The public water main shall be constructed in accordance with the "Public Works Water Construction and Development Standards" available at the front desk of the Public Works Department. Jack, tunnel or augering is required under Interurban Avenue South pavement. Cl 52 DIP pipe only is allowed. This pipe shall be encased in toe casing filled with sand or grout and plugged at each end. An additional valve shall be provided just before the sprinkler vault. 7. Storm Drainage (Permit Fee $25.00) Included in this construction shall be the inspection of the private swale systems provided in the property. Per the Planning Department, the swale system, including plantings and trees, are compatible with the operations of the swale system. This permit is issued simultaneously with the City's Flood Zone Control Permits, which has attached to it the DOE flood zone control permit. 8. Flood Zone Control Permit (Permit Fee $50.00) DOE Flood Zone Control Permit shall accompany the application for this permit. The outfall to the Green River (at proposed public system to be turned over to the City) shall also meet the requirements of the Flood Zone Control Permit. The new dike rehabilitation shall be also included under this permit. (The dike trail easement shall be provided directly to the Planning Department as part of the Planning Department's requirements.) 9. Public Storm Drain (Permit Fee $25.00) That portion of the storm drainage system which includes catch basin 2, catch basin 1, the outfall into the Green River and the 12" concrete overflow pipe back to the ditch system on the east side of Interurban Avenue South shall be built in accordance with the City's standards and requirements for turnover as a public facility. Immediately upon construction of this facility, the developer shall apply for turnover of this storm drainage system to the City. 4 . Mr. David Kehle, Architect August 8, 1986 Page 3 10. Fire Loop / Hydrant (Permit Fee $25.00) This permit covers the review of the fire line from the proposed public main to the vault only. A standby charge will be provided on the monthly water bills for the 12" main upon its construction. For review and approval of the vault and the fire system internal to the devewlopment, including the review of the location and type of fire hydrant provided under Note 7 on Plan SD -1, I refer you to the Fire Marshall, Doug Gibbs, at 433 -1859. 11. Landscape Irrigation (Permit Fee $25.00) Landscape irrigation meter permit. Exempt meter address 14600 Interurban Avenue South Four sets of landscape irrigation plans shall be provided to Public Works via the Planning Department Permit Coordinator for review and approval prior to application for the landscape irrigation permit and the sewer exempt water meter permit. The landscape irrigation permit fee is $25.00 and the sewer exempt water meter permit is a no -fee permit, which shall be applied for and accompanies the landscape irrigation permit.
