All construction shall be in accordance with the City of Tukwila specifications. 2. All sedimentation /erosion facilities must be in operation prior co clearing and building construction, and they must be satisfactorily maintained until construction is completed and the potential for onsite erosion has pasted. /\ 3. The storm sewer pipe shall be nonreinforced bell -end spigot concrete pipe, conforming to ASTM C14(extra strength) Class II. (The bell end of the pipe shall not be installed inside the catch basin.) All joints shall be watertight. The 6" and 8" pipe may be PVC conforming to ASTM D3034, SDR35. 4. All disturbed areas shall be seeded or stabilized by other approved City of Tukwila methods for the prevention of onsite erosion after the corrpletion of construction. 5. Grass seeding will be done using an approved type hydro - seeder, or as otherwise approved by City of Tukwila Department of Public Works. 6. All pipe shall be laid on a properly prepared foundation according to Washington State Spec. 7-02.3(1). This shall include necessary leveling of the trench bottom or the top of the foundation material as well as placement and compaction of required bedding material to uniform grade so that the entire length of the pipe will be supported on a uniformly dense unyielding base- If the native material in the bottom of the trench meets the requirements for "gravel backfill for the pipe bedding" the first lift of pipe bedding may be omitted provided the material in the bottcm of the trench is loosened, regraded and compacted to form a dense unyielding base. 7. All building downspouts and footing drains shall be connected to the storm drainage system (yard drain), unless otherwise approved by the Department of Public Works. All catch basins shall be Type 1 -B per City c•f Tukwila Standards as specified, except for Inlet 3 which shall be Type 468 per APWA or approved equal. The 48 -inch catch basins shall be Type 1l. The yard drain shall be Associated Sand and Gravel CB-10 or equal. All drainage structures not in asphalt shall have locking lids, unless otherwise approved by the Department of Public Works. All catch basin frames and grates shall not be adjusted to grade until immediately prior to final paving. Grates shall be depressed 0.1 feet below pavement level. 9. Structures shall not be permitted within 10' of the spring line of any storm drainage pipe(s), or 15' from the top of any channel bank. 10. The storm drainage system shall be constructed according to the approved plans which are on file in the Department of Public works. Any deviation from the approved plans will required written approval from the City of Tukwila. 11. A copy of these approved plans must be on the job site whenever construction is in progress. 12. Approximate locations of existing utilities have been obtained from available records and are shown fur convenience. The Contractor shall be responsible for verification of the locations shown and for discovery of possible additional utilities not shown so as to avoid.damaoe or disturbance. 13.
