Dear Sir:
The attached set of building plans have been reviewed by
The Fire Prevention Bureau and are acceptable with the
following concerns:
1. Exit hardware and marking must meet the requirements
of Uniform Fire Code Sections 12.104 & 12.114.
Exit doors shall be opennble tram the inside without
the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort.
(UFC 12.104b)
2. Maintain square fool coverage of detectors per
manufacturer's specifications in all areas including;
closets, elevator shafts, top of stairwells, etc. (NFPA
72A, 1 -2.2 & NFPA 72E)
All modifications to fire alarm systems shall have the
written approval of Tukwila Fire Department., No work
shall commence without approved drawings. (City
Ordinance #1327)
3. All electrical wiring is to be inspected by the State
Electrical Inspector, Washington State Department of Labor
& Industries.
