Drainage Roof decks must be graded to drain all water freely. Drains shall he sufficient in number and size to assure rapid elimination of water from the roof surface. Nailing Treated wood nailors are required on inclines exceeding 2 inches per foot to help secure insulation and roof membranes to non•nallable decks or to decks with insulation. Nailers should be the same thickness as the Insulation and should be installed perpendicular to the slope on 8 foot face-to-face for slopes up to 3 inches per foot and 4 foot face -to, face for slopes greater than 3 inches per foot. Felts are to run parallel to the incline and must be secured at each nailer, 12" in from the back edge of the felt. Each nail must be covered by succeeding plies.
