This system meets the requirements for a U.L. Class B roof assembly (see attached statements from the manufacturer). This roof was in- stalled at the Auto Center store owned by J.C. Penneys and located adjacent to J.C. Penneys Store #696 in Southcenter. The Auto Center's current tenant is Firestone. Please reference your building permit #4533 for this roofing work. We would appreciate a letter of your acceptance for our records. Tremco has inspected and passed the work as in compliance with their requirements. The specifications for the South Center TEA roofing project will be changed to reflect the use of 3/4" perlite insulation instead of the l" fiberboard. This change is to meet the local city fire code requirements. Additionally, the extra cost of One- Thousand and eight -six Dollars for the perlite insulation will be deducted from the TREMCO Materials price.
