Patched areas shall match existing adjacent finishes and levels (see note 1i4 above). 7 Openings for new mechanical or electrical work in existing structural elements shall be located only as directed by the Architect. $ The Contractor shall verify all requirements for exact size and quantity of equipment furnished by the Owner including requirements for mechanical and electrical services, and be responsible for all rough -ins and connections. 1 Installation of mechanical and electrical systems will require opening some existing walls or ceiling cavities. When such openings are required in excess of those already located on these drawings, the Contractor shall determine the least disruptive and least expensive location for such openings and obtain the Architect's approval prior to making the opening.
