Dear Sir:
Your building permit number 4555 for Cement Block Test Cell
issued on September 12, 1986 will be cancelled on May 28, 1989
pursuant to Section 303(d) of the Uniform Building Code, and work
done to date will be considered as having been done without
benefit of permit.
Your letter dated October 19, 1988 stated that corrections would .
be made and the work completed within 30 days. This did not
happen and had still not happened as of December 8, 1988.
If you take no action by May 28, 1989 a new permit will be
required to continue any work on the Cement Block Test Cell
project.

The attached set of building plans have been reviewed by The
Fire Prevention Bureau and are acceptable with the following
concerns:
1. Exit hardware and marking must meet the requirements of
(/:_/iform Fire Code Sections 12.104 & 12.114.
2. A fire extinguishing system is required in the Dyno
.test areas. Submit detailed drawings to the Fire Department
for approval prior to commencing any alarm system or
extinguishing system work. •
BUILDING DEPARTMENT NOTE: What type of occupany.is a machine
shop /testing lab when they use flammable /combustible
liquids ?.
