This letter supercedes the letter dated September 3, 1986. -
This letter confirms that use of untreated wood members
is adequate for a temporary ramp structure, except all
8 x 8 posts in contact with existing pavement or soil
shall be pressure treated or on raised footings, 6" minimum
above existing paving or soil. The 8 x 8 used timber
and /or rail road ties shall be in good condition with
no deterioration or dry -rot.
