Exit hardware and marking must meet the requirements of Uniform Fire Code Sections 12.104 & 12.114. Exit doors shall be openable from the inside without the use of a key or any special knowledge or effort. (UFC 12.104b) 2. Maintain sprinkler protection for all enclosed areas. (NFPA 13, 4- 1.1.1) All modifications to sprinkler systems shall have the written approval of the Washington Surveying & Rating. Bureau, Factory Mutual Engineering or Industrial Risk Insurers, then by the Tukwila Fire Department. No sprinkler work shall commence without approved drawings.
