Konrady, PE of Wilsey and Ham (9/30/87) approve the temporary erosion control portion of the plan and recommend permits through your office be issued. Box C -97304 Bellevue, Washington 98009 -7730 (206) 454-3250 RE: GATEWAY CORPORATE PARK PHASE III - ROUGH GRADING AND PRE -LOAD PLAN Dear Phil: 1::0E11/10 SEp 3 0 1987 Vor (s I have reviewed the hydraulic calculation prepared by Gary Thornton with McKenzie Engineering (copy attached) for the above referenced project. The two manholes that the project will eventually tie into are manhole's 'H' and 'B'. As shown on the calculations the energy gradelines are 13.7 and 13.4 respectively under the 100 year flood stage in the Duwammish (Elevation 13.2) and a 10 -year return frequency storm on -site. I anticipate that the storm sewer extensions could add an additional two feet to the energy gradeline thereby producing a maximum energy gradeline of 16.0 + elevation. With the lowest finished floor being proposed at elevation 17.5, 1 don't have any concerns for on -site flooding problems. The Pre -Load and Rough Grading plans do not include any design or information regarding riverbank or dike improvements. This issue will and has been addressed under the Shoreline Management Permit and will be finalized with the issuance of building permits. We anticipate the grading activity to begin October 5, 1987.
