No changes will be made to plans unless approved by Architect and Tukwila Building Department. Plumbing permit to be obtained through King County Health Department and plumbing will be inspected by that agency (including all gas piping). Electrical work to be inspected by State Electrical Inspectors and all required electrical permits obtained through that agency. All mechanical work to be under separate permit. All permits to be posted at job site prior to start of any construction. 6. When Special Inspection is required either the owner, architect or engineer shall notify the Tukwila Building Department of the appointment of the inspection agencies prior to the first building inspection. Copies of all special inspection reports shall be submitted to the Building Department in a timely manner. Reports shall contain address and permit number of the project being inspected. 7. All structural concrete to be special inspected. (Sec. 306, UBC) 8. All structural welding to be done by W.A.B.O. certified welder and special inspected. (Sec. 306, UBC) 9. All high- strength bolting to be special inspected. (Sec. 306, UBC) 10. Any new ceiling grid and light fixture installation to meet lateral bracing requirements for Seismic Zone 3. 11. Partition walls attached to ceiling grid must be laterally braced if over eight (8) feet in length. 12. Readily accessible access to roof mounted equipment required. Engineered truss drawings and calculations shall be on site and available to Building Inspector for inspection purposes. Any exposed insulation backing material to have Flame Spread Rating of 25 or less. 15. Subgrade preparation including drainage, excavation, compaction, and fill requirements shall conform strictly with recommendations given in the soils report or as directed by the soils engineer. 16. We have conducted a general site visit of the property, and have also reviewed the amended report and supplemental report prepared by GeoEngineers, Inc., dated, respectively, March 30, 1987 and June 1, 1987. These reports summarize geotechnical considerations for development in Silver View and include recommen- dations for foundation preparation, site drainage, and other issues that are typically addressed as part of a geotechnical analysis. We have also reviewed the undated plot plan by GSC Development, Inc. and undated house plans prepared by Alan Mascord, Designer, and submitted by the owner of Lot 5. We understand that these plans will be submitted to the city for a Building Permit. Based upon this review, we have concluded that the geotechnical recommendations and limitations outlined in the referenced reports will be ap- plicable to this project, and if followed appropriately, should adequately address the construction requirements for the project. We recommend that footing drains be installed around all perimeter footings. The drains should be placed with the invert at the bottom of the footing and be tight -lined to storm sewer facilities. In addition, we recommend that the footings bear on medium dense sand, dense glacially consolidated soils or structural fill in accordance with the referenced report. In order to verify that the site conditions are as anticipated in the referenced geotechnical reports, we recommend that Earth Consultants, Inc.
