As this shed is within the 100 year flood plain/ with portions of the property being under the flood plain, a FCZP is required as part of the development of this building structure. The base flood elevation is 16.5 for the site per your prior Elevation Certificate (attached); NGVD DATUM is used with reference Bench Mark per attachment "A ". The following is an item by item response to your (4) structural concerns listed in your February 17th, plan review letter (88- T -01). 1. We have revised the plan to show anchor bolt embedments as you requested. As stated in our phone conversation the drawing 100 -129 is being removed from the submittal set, as it is not required for the submittal. 2. Overturning is adequately resisted thru frame action as shown in the structural calculations. The maximum uplift force at the column locations is 5827# (see sheet 26 of calculations). This force is distributed over (4) 1/2" diameter bolts making the tension force per bolt equal to 5827 # /4 or 1457 # /bolt. The capacity of a 1/2" diameter bolt is 4880 #. 3. We have withdrawn sheet 100 -129 therefore per sheet S1 the assumed BRG pressure is 2000 p.s.f.. 4. Drawing 100 -129 has been withdrawn. If you have any questions, pleasd feel free to call.
