Job No. 8803 -036) Dear Mr. Freshwater: The Seismic Analysis and calculations were performed based on the geometry and loading shown on page 1 for case B & C and page 4 for case A (except that case A was using the results of case B & C to estimate the maximum allowable loading). Under all conditions, the storage racks were found to be stable with the addition of (1) '" diameter expansion anchor per page 2 with a minimum embedment of 21/4" at every leg of each rack with a column base plate thickness of 3/8 ". This method of bolting will accept a resisting force deemed adequate per the 1985 UBC Standard for seismic loading with respect to overturning. The maximum loading for case A was found to be 5100 lb.
