Granger Southcenter South Industrial Park New Panel Openings Gene: I have reviewed the adequacy of the existing concrete panels for the three new window openings which are planned to be cut into the north wall of the Granger Building. The existing panels have #4 @ 16" vertical and are braced at the mezzanine level. Between openings there is a minimum of 7' -5" of concrete which should therefore contain at least 5 - #4 vertical. This amount of reinforcing can adequately support the walls between the openings which occur below the existing wood mezzanine. It was assumed that the wood mezzanine, which is adding vertical load to this wall, also provided adequate lateral support for the wall.
