In addition, the developer requests planning approval in three phases. 1. The approved colors were blue and grey, the installed roofing and siding are brown with chocolate trim. 2. Vinyl siding was approved, Masonite 501 horizontal siding is installed. 3. Half moon fan windows and doors were approved but were eliminated. Additional fenestration was approved but deleted from the constructed buildings. I suggest the following arrangements prior to approval of any occupancy: 1. An irrigation plan and permit approved and issued for the entire project. 2. Dumpster enclosures in place, painted to match buildings and screened with adjacent landscaping completed as part of each phase. 3. Install chimney wind screens painted to match trim. 4. Entire landscape area in southeast corner landscaped with 30 x 60 hard surfaced, class B asphalt surface with a non slip emulsion surface and a basketball hoop and pole setback 4 feet from edge. 5. Install steps in hillside behind recreation facility to provide access from upper stories to lower stories. 6. To compensate for the change in fenestration and siding material, increased landscaping in ground cover and tree cover for site. No changes will be made to plans unless approved by Architect and Tukwila Building Department. 2. Plumbing permit to be obtained through King County Health Department and plumbing will be inspected by that agency (including all gas piping). 3. Electrical work to be inspected by State Electrical Inspectors and all required electrical permits obtained through that agency. 4. All permits to be posted at job site prior to start of any construction. 5. When special inspection is required either the owenr, architect or engineer shall notify the Tukwila Building Department of appointment of the inspection agencies prior to the first building inspection. Copies of all special inspection reports shall be submitted to the Building Department in a timely manner. Reports shall contain address and permit number of the project being inspected. 6. All structural concrete to be special inspected (Sec. 306, UBC). 7. Engineered truss drawings and calculations shall be on site and available to Building Inspector for inspection purposes. 8. Subgrade preparation including drainage, excavation, compaction, and fill requirements shall conform strictly with recommendations given in the soils report or as directed by the soils engineer. 9. Statement from roofing contractor verifying fire retardancy of roof will be required prior to final (see attached letter). 10. All construction to be done in conformance with approved plans and requirements of the Uniform Building code (1985 Edition), Uniform Mechanical Code (1985 Edition), Washington State Energy Code (1986 Edition), and Washington State Regulations for Barrier Free Facility (1986 Edition). Dear Sir: The attached set of building plans have been reviewed by The Fire Prevention Bureau and are acceptable with the following concerns: 1. This review limited to speculative tenant space only - special fire permits may be necessary depending on detailed description of intended use. 2. The total number of fire extinguishers required for your establishment is calculated at one extinguisher for each 3000 sq. ft. of area. The extinguisher(s) should be of the "All Purpose" (2A, 10 B:C) dry chemical type. Travel distance to any fire extinguisher must be 75' or less. (NFPA 10, 3 -1.1 and UFC 10.301b) Extinguishers shall be installed on the hangers or in the brackets supplied, mounted in cabinets, or set on shelves, and shall be installed so that the top of the extinguisher is not more than 5 ft. above the floor.
