Exit hardware and marking must meet the requirements of Uniform Fire Code Sections 12.104 & 12.114. 2. Maintain sprinkler protection for all enclosed areas. (NFPA 13, 4- 1.1.1) (UFC 10.302) 3. All wall and ceiling materials constructed of wood, shall be fire retardant treated. (UFC 10.401) 4. All interior wall covering materials shall be fire - resistive or shall be treated to be fire - resistive, so as to result in a flame - spread rating as required by UFC Appendix VI -C tables 42A and 42B.
