Agency Interviews (Renton Ecumenical, Angle Lake Family Resource Center) 2. Budget/allocation discussion 3. Lunch 4. Next meeting Discussion: Interview with LCSN & Renton Ecumenical Center of Hope Shelter. (See attached notes.) Discuss allocations for two funding scenarios. Next meeting potential September. Re view potential f unding a llocations Plan A (level funding) or Plan B (slight increase). Interviews: Z Eskenazi, Program Manager, Angle Lake Family Resource Center Programing supports healthy individuals/families: Tax Prep, counseling & creative support groups, ESL, resume/cover letter writing, vocational/job training, food handler’s permit , Arabic reading/writing for kids , support group at Foster High School Global Girls United , Foster girls who identify as bi - cultural; birth culture and American. W orkshops on utilizing public transportation, field trips, parenting classes, and partnership at TCC with Project Feast. L Smith, Executive Director, J Brooks, Program Manager, Center of Hope CoH open 8a - 5p M - F, located in the old jail at Renton City hall. Single wo men and women with children (including boys over 12) welcome. Residents receive breakfast, lunch; dinner optional at Renton Salvation Army (including transportation) are transported to the local overnight church - based shelter in Renton (rotates between chu rches every 3 months). Residents have their own rooms and beds. CoH has weekly visits with Sound Mental Health counselors, monthly visiting nurses, showers, laundry, mailing address, computer lab , locker space , donations room, walk - in refrigerator/freeze r , respite area in the event of illness . Volunteers stay with the families overnight.
