Penney store at Southcenter was actually designed for expansion as a future third floor. The present roof (future third floor) was designed to support a 75 psf live load and a 25 psf partition load for a total of 100 psf. This is well in excess of the weight of the present roofing plus the new roof -. ing being proposed.
