are listing the major changes between first submission and final contract
documents.
A. First Floor Plan:
(1) Stairway No. 4 changed direction at top of stairs.
(2) Toilets and manager's office rearranged and enlarged.
(3) Stairway No. 2 relocated to new position.
(4) Escalators were spread apart.
(5) Deletion of 2 skywells.
(6) Elevator in N.E.corner rearranged with elevator on
East side of Receiving area.
(7) Stairway No. 1 and elevator on West side of building
rearranged together.
(8) Corridor No. 4 shifted to the South 24'.
(9) Exit entrance No. 2 shifted to the North.
(10) Stairway No. 3 shifted to the West.
B. Second Floor Plan:
(1) Skylights shifted and enlarged.
(2) Corridor No. 15 shifted to the South 24 ".
(3) Restaurant area deleted and relocated.

We have received plans for the proposed mezzanine addition to the Parkview Plaza
Building and have reviewed them for compliance with Chapters 23 through 29 of the
Uniform Building Code.
Comments
1. Provide skylight framing and details.
. Submit calculations verifying existing roof framing capable of resisting
vertical loads of skylights.
3. Connection of 8 -3/4 x 42 GLB to column cap at grid intersection S -22 appears
to be inadequate; provide calculations.
4. Footing reinforcement appears to be in violation of Section 2610(f) ; provide
calculations.
5. Submit lateral load path analysis.

Dear Rudy:
With regards to the channelization concepts for allowing for ingress
and eggress for the developmnet as shown on sheet P -1 as revised
2/19/82 Public Works has reviewed and found this plan acceptable for
final plan application under the following conditions:
The most southerly 30 -foot access point on Southcenter Parkway,
per this redevelopment, will be considered temporary and may
be subject to revision or elimination in the future at such
time as it is deemed a safety hazard or in order to facilitate
smoother traffic flow or relieve congestion in Southcenter Parkway
as determined by the City.
The reverse left to the left turn lane transition may not be
accepted by the City in the final plan review for Southcenter
Parkway and South 180th Street.
