Premium Vinyl Skirting.
Easy to Install.
Easy to Maintain.
Add the finishing touch of
Chateau skirting.
The distinctive cedar grain look is a result of
our state-of-the-art manufacturing process,
and is perfect for manufactured homes,
decks, foundations, porches and hot tubs.
Unique center vent design.
Each panel has a built-in center vent so
separate ventilating panels are not necessary,
giving you an overall look that is much more
attractive than regular skirting.
The rich texture and character
of woodgrain adds an elegant
touch to any home.
, 141
Easy maintenance...
no painting!
Chateau vinyl skirting is easily cleaned with
just a garden hose. Stubborn dirt can be
quickly cleaned with a solution of ordinary
dishwashing detergent and water.
Stands up to the weather.
Chateau vinyl skirting fits snugly, yet has the
flexibility to maintain its integrity during high
winds.
Durability that's guaranteed.
High-quality vinyl meets ASTM standards and
is suitable for any climate. And it won't dent,
conduct electricity or attract insects.
Chateau skirting comes with a
Lifetime Limited Warranty against
peeling, blistering, rot, rust and
corrosion.
Simple do-it-yourself installation
creates beautiful results.
Install Chateau today &
enjoy tomorrow.
Using simple household tools, you can add the
beauty of Chateau skirting. Use this brochure
to help figure your materials and to review the
simple steps to install like a pro. Check with
your home improvement specialist to assist
you or answer any questions.
(Due to printing limitations, colors may not be exact4, as sboum.
Contact your distributor for actual product samples).
Chateau color choices let
you bring out the beauty
of your home.
1 New top -rail design resists
warping and blowout. Pre - notched
front top rails allow for expansion
overlap and help reduce installa-
tion time.

2 Removable -panel design lets
you store garden tools, lawn furni-
ture, and children's toys out of
sight — but not out of reach.
3 New panel profile adds strength
and provides extra security against
wind loads. Extra -wide, 16 -inch
panels mean fewer panels to cut
— which saves even more instal-
lation time.
4 Unique design lets panels self -
adjust to ground -level fluctuations
due to changes in weather condi-
tions. These installation guides
also keep panels from snagging on
rail fasteners during frost heave,
thereby preventing buckling.
v
5 Special interlocking panels
keep the panels secure and the
locks hidden so they don't detract
from the appearance of your
home.
6 Ventilated panels are required
to help eliminate moisture buildup
and allow for proper air circula-
tion. (Check your home's specifi-
cations for proper ventilation
requirements.)
7 "F" shaped bottom rail design
(instead of a narrow "U" shaped
channel) provides a stable founda-
tion and prevents the channel
from buckling.
v
ov
8 And the bottom rail design,
with its precut slots for ground
spikes or cement screws, allows
for ease of installation on concrete
or directly on the ground.
(Several different component colors are used in
pbotos for enhancement purposes only).
✓ With a tape, measure the perimeter of the home, deck, or hot
tub you wish to skirt, making sure to measure the entire
perimeter, including bays and porches.
✓ The chart below shows some typical size homes and their
corresponding linear measurements.
✓ To determine the average height, first measure the distance
between the ground and the bottom of what you're skirting.
✓ Take this measurement at each of the corners and at the cen-
ter of each side.
✓ Total all six of these measurements and divide by six to arrive
at the average height. The worksheet at the right is helpful.
✓ Next, find that height in the chart below. Scan over to the
point under the approximate linear footage of your project.
That will be the number of skirting panels you will need to
order.
✓ For the top rails, top back rails, and ground channels you'll
need, look only in the column under the linear footage that
come closest to your project.
Then gather your tools and begin the installation!

The two above referenced manufactured homes have been inspected and may be moved to the
Southgate Mobile Home Park under the following conditions.
1. An inspection of both units shall be made by The Department of Labor and Industries, Factory
assembled structures Section. Contact Mat Jackson at 206/ 835 -1067 to schedule this
inspection.
2. Submit a copy of the L &I inspection report with your application for the building permit to install
the required foundation system. Any repairs or conditions of the L& I inspection shall become
conditions of the final inspection approval of the building permit.
The inspection by L &I may be completed once you have moved the units to Tukwila or you may have it
done at the site in Renton. In either case the condition of the electrical systems and the propane fuel
systems are of concern due to the age of these units. Any repairs that are deemed necessary by the
L& I inspector will have to be done before approval for occupancy.
If you have any questions, you may contact me at 206/431 -3675.
