May 23, 2007 Jennifer Marshall Permit Technician 6300 Southcenter Boulevard, Suite #100 Tukwila, WA 98188 I understand according to this letter, that we were supposed to schedule an inspection, however, when I call the inspection line, it is not clear that which or if I need to do this, so I am sending this letter to outline the remaining work left, how we intend to finish and the approximate time line on the work. Roof: We currently have a 3-tab shingle roof on the garage addition that doesn't have enough of a pitch for it to meet code. We are currently collecting bids (we have received 2 already and are awaiting 1 more) to decide which company will do the work. 1 estimate that we will be able to get them to conclude the work on the roof in the next 4-6 weeks which is dependent on the contractors work schedule. Concrete Slab: We are currently interviewing contractors to pour the remaining 1/3 floor of the slab floor of the garage (in fact, we spoke to one person this mooring). We expect this to be done in the next 4-6 weeks also depending on the contractor's schedule. Electrical: I have requested an inspection on the final electrical today from WA Department of Labor and Industries. I had a final inspection done last year before my husband's back injury, which a few things had to be fixed so we needed an additional inspection for. We were delayed due to my husband's back injury and have since had someone do those final detail revisions done for us. I have since heard that the city of Tukwila has attained their electrical division. Please advise, if we need to follow other avenues to get this closed up.
