Ordinance 358 was amended or repealed by the following ordinances. 2355 (part) CITY OF TUKWILA Ordinance 358 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 of ORDINANCE #266, declaring trailer or mobile homes which are parked outside duly approved trailer parks as nuisances with the exception of pro- viding for the issuance of temporary parking permits for trailers or mobile homes during the period from April 21, 1962 to October 21, 1962. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: "With the exceptions hereinafter noted, no trailer or mobile home coach may be parked outside a duly approved trailer park. Any trailer or mobile home coach used as a dwelling, and not located in a duly approved trailer park, shall be deemed a nuisance and if not removed in 72 hours after written notice, shall be impounded, and the owner shall be subjected to the fines and penalties of this ordinance. The following exceptions to the above shall be in force and affect from April 21, 1962 to October 21, 1962. "Temporary sleeping quarter trailer parking permits for two -week periods, renewable for two -week periods, may be issued by the City of Tukwila Building Department under the following circumstances. Property owners, who maintain residences on their property, who are having guests at their residences during Century -21, Seattle's Worlds' Fair, from April 21, 1962 to October 21, 1962, may apply for temporary trailer parking permits to pro- vide temporary sleeping quarters for quests staying at their resi- dences. The permit shall be for a two -week period with a renewal period of two weeks. The property owner must provide suitable off- street parking for the trailer and when applying for a permit must supply a diagram showing the boundaries of his property, the location of his house, the proposed trailer parking area and a suitable method of securing the trailer. This ordinance is in- tended to supply temporary sleeping accommodations onlyand use for cooking, or any other use other than for sleeping,' expressly forbidden. The area adjacent to the trailer must at all times be kept free and clear of all refuse. The parking of all trailers shall be supervised by the building department and /or the police department, who, as a condition of the issuance of a trailer parking permit, shall be allowed to inspect the use and parking of trailers at all reasonable times. There shall be a fee of $2.50 for each permit and for each renewal and said permit shall be subject to revocation at any time by the building department or by the police department. 12 PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR this day o f arc 1962.
