2: No changes shall be made to the approved plans unless approved by the design professional in responsible charge and the
Building Official.
3: All permits, inspection records, and approved plans shall be at the job site and available to the inspectors prior to
start of any construction. These documents shall be maintained and made available until final inspection approval is
granted.
4: The special inspections for steel elements of buildings and structures shall be required. All welding shall be done by
a Washington Association of Building Official Certified welder.
5: When special inspection is required, either the owner or the registered design professional in responsible charge,
shall employ a special inspection agency and notify the Building Official of the appointment prior to the first
building inspection. The special inspector shall furnish inspection reports to the Building Official in a timely manner.
6: A final report documenting required special inspections and correction of any discrepancies noted in the inspections
shall be submitted to the Building Official. The final inspection report shall be prepared by the approved special
inspection agency and shall be submitted to the Building Official prior to and as a condition of final inspection
approval.
7: All construction shall be done in conformance with the approved plans and the requirements of the International
Building Code or International Residential Code, International Mechanical Code, Washington State Energy Code.
8: Notify the City of Tukwila Building Division prior to placing any concrete. This procedure is in addition to any
requirements for special inspection.
10: All construction noise to be in compliance with Chapter 8.22 of the City of Tukwila Municipal Code. A copy can be
obtained at City Hall in the office of the City Clerk.
11: VALIDITY OF PERMIT: The issuance or granting of a permit shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an approval of,
any violation of any of the provisions of the building code or of any other ordinances of the City of Tukwila. Permits
presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the code or other ordinances of the City of Tukwila
shall not be valid. The issuance of a permit based on construction documents and other data shall not prevent the
Building Official from requiring the correction of errors in the construction documents and other data.

Permit Numbers D08 -504, 505, & 506
Please draw a check in the amount of $829.02 (eight hundred twenty -nine and two cents)
to be payable to SP Tukwila at 1201 3rd Ave Ste 5400 in Seattle, WA 98040.
This check is reimbursement for overpayment of permit fees on the permits D08 -504,
D08 -505, and D08 -506.
When these permits were brought in, the valuation was calculated by the 2006 IBC
valuation table for utility structures. During the course of the permit review, it was
determined that this valuation was too high and when reassessed, an overpayment on
these permit fees resulted. The overpayments are as follows:
The overpayment shows under the "System OverPayment Account" listed as item 9000
in Permits Plus. This occurred when the redistribution of overpayments was being made
to cover the State Building Surcharge Fee which was not paid at submittal. I have
attached copies of the fee items grid for the subject permits in an attempt to clarify this
request.

November 26, 2008, is determined to be incomplete. Before your application can continue the plan
review process the following items from the following department need to be addressed:
Building Department: Dave Larson at 206 -433 -7163 if you have any questions concerning the
attached comments.
Please address the comment above in an itemized format with applicable revised plans, specifications,
and/or other documentation. The City requires that four (4) sets of revised plans, specifications and/or
other documentation be resubmitted with the appropriate revision block.
In order to better expedite your resubmittal a `Revision Submittal Sheet' must accompany every
resubmittal. I have enclosed one for your convenience. Revisions must be made in person and will not

PLAN SUBMITTALS: (Min. size 11x17 to maximum size of 24x36; all sheets shall be the same size).
(If applicable) Structural Drawings and structural calculations sheets shall be original signed wet
stamped, not copied.)
1. Please provide a foundation investigation and report as required per sec. 1802.2.4 2006 IBC
2. Structural calculations shall be based on the 2006 IBC. The gravity footing loads were partially
based on a table and allowed increases from the 1997 UBC. This code is not in use. Please
revise structural calculations to comply with current applicable codes.
