2: No changes shall be made to the approved plans unless approved by the design professional in responsible charge and the
Building Official.
3: All mechanical work shall be inspected and approved under a separate permit issued by the City of Tukwila Permit Center
(206/431- 3670).
4: All permits, inspection records, and approved plans shall be at the job site and available to the inspectors prior to
start of any construction. These documents shall be maintained and made available until final inspection approval is
granted.
5: All construction shall be done in conformance with the approved plans and the requirements of the International
Building Code or International Residential Code, International Mechanical Code, Washington State Energy Code.
6: Manufacturers installation instructions shall be available on the job site at the time of inspection.
7: All electrical work shall be inspected and approved under a separate permit issued by the City of Tukwila Building
Department (206- 431 - 3670).
8: VALIDITY OF PERMIT: The issuance or granting of a permit shall not be construed to be a permit for, or an approval of,
any violation of any of the provisions of the building code or of any other ordinances of the City of Tukwila. Permits
presuming to give authority to violate or cancel the provisions of the code or other ordinances of the City of Tukwila
shall not be valid. The issuance of a permit based on construction documents and other data shall not prevent the
Building Official from requiring the correction of errors in the construction documents and other data.
9: ** *FIRE DEPARTMENT CONDITIONS * **
10: The attached set of building plans have been reviewed by the Fire Prevention Bureau and are acceptable with the
following concerns:
11: H.V.A.C. units rated at greater than 2,000 cfm require auto - shutdown devices. These devices shall be separately zoned
in the alarm panel and local U.L. central station supervision is required. (City Ordinance #2051)
12: H.V.A.C. systems supplying air in excess of 2,000 cubic feet per minute to enclosed spaces within buildings shall be
equipped with an automatic shutoff. Automatic shutoff shall be accomplished by interrupting the power source of the
air- moving equipment upon detection of smoke in the main return-air duct served by such equipment. Smoke detectors
shall be labeled by an approved agency for air -duct installation and shall be installed in accordance with the
manufacturer's installation instructions. (IMC 606.1, 606.2.1)
13: Remote indicator lights are required on all above ceiling smoke detectors. (City Ordinance #2051)
14: Duct smoke detectors shall be capable of being reset from a single point near the alarm panel. (City Ordinance #2051)
15: Duct detectors shall send a supervisory signal only upon activation. (City Ordinance #2051)

16: All new fire alarm systems or modifications to existing systems shall have the written approval of The Tukwila Fire
Prevention Bureau. No work shall commence until a fire department permit has been obtained. (City Ordinance #2051) (IFC
104.2)
17: An electrical permit from the City of Tukwila Building Department Permit Center (206- 431 -3670) is required for this
project.
18: Contact The Tukwila Fire Prevention Bureau to witness all required inspections and tests. (City Ordinances #2050 and
#2051)
19: Any overlooked hazardous condition and/or violation of the adopted Fire or Building Codes does not imply approval of
such condition or violation.

1412.4.1 Dampers: Outside air intakes, exhaust outlets and relief outlets
serving conditioned spaces shall be equipped with dampers which close

Exceptions:
1. Systems serving areas which require continuous operation.
2. Combustion air intakes.

141242 Optimum Start Centrals: Heating and cooling systems with
design supply air cepecities exceeding 10,000 cfm shall have optimum
start controls. Optimum start oentrel5 shall be designed tc automatically

desired occupied temperature levels immediately before scheduled
occupancy. The control algorithm shall, as minimum, be a function of the
difference between space temperature and occupied setpoint and the
amount oftime prierte scheduled occupancy_
1412.5 Heat Pump Controls: Unitary air coaled heat pumps shall Include
micraprocessor controls that minimize supplemental heat usage during
start- upset -up, and defter candelans. These controls shall anticipate
need for heat and use compression heating asthe fret stageofheet.
Controls shall indicate when supplemental heating is being used through
visual means (e.g., LED indicators).
1412.6 Combustion Healing Equipment Controls: Combustion heating
equipment with a capacity over 226.000 Blunt shall have modulating or
staged combustion control_

1. Individual, direct expansion units that hat rated capacity

1414 Ducting Systems
1414.1 Sealing: Ductwork which is designed to operate at pressures
above 1/2 inch water column static pressure shall be sealed in accordance
with Standard RS - 1e. Extent ofsealing required isas follows:
1_ Static pressure: 1/2 inch to 2 inches; seal transverse joints_
2. Static pressure: 2 inches to 3 inches :seal all transverse joints
and longitudinal seams.
3_ Static pressure: above 3 inches: seal all transverse jail
longitudinal seams and duct wall penetrations.
Duct tape and other pressure sensitive to pe shall no used as the
primary sea lam where ducts are designed to operate at static pressures of
1 inch W.C. or greater.
1414.2 hwlation: Duels and plenums that are constructed and function
as part of the building envelope,byseparating interior space from exterior
space, shall meet all applicable requirements of Chapter 13. The
requiremente Include insulation installation, moisture canto!, airleakage,
and building envelope insulation levels_ unheated equipment rooms with
combustion air louvers mu be isolated from the conditioned space by
insulating interior surfaces to a minimum of R -11 and any exterior
envelope surfaces per Chapter 13. Outside air ducts serving individual
supply air units with less than 2 ,800 cfm often! supply air caps city shall be
insulated to a minimum of R- -7 and are not considered building envelope.
Otheroutside air duct runs are considered building envelope until they,
1. connect to the heating or ma equipment, or
2_ are isolated from the exterior with an automatic shut- offdamper
complying with Section 14124.1.
On outside air ducts meet the above listed requirements,any runs
within conditioned space shall comply with Table 14-3 requirements.
Other ducts and plenums shall be thermally insulated per Table 14-6.
Exceptions:
1. Within the HVAC equipment.
2. Exhaust air duets not subject to condensation.
3. Exposed ductwork within a z one that serves that gene.
1415 Piping Systems

1412.7 Balancing: Each air supply outlet or air or water terminal device
shall have a means for balancing, including but not limited to, dampers,
temperature and pressure test connections and balancing valves.
1413 Air Economizers
1413.1 Operation: Air economizers shall be of automatically modulating
outside and return air dampers to provide 100 percent of the design supply
air as outside air to reduce or eliminate the need for mechanical cooling.
Water economizers shall be capable of providing the total concurrent
cooling load served by the conneted terminal equipment lacking airside
economizer, at outside air temperatures of 45 ° F dry- bulb /40 ° F wet -bulb
and below. For this calculation, all factors including solar and internal load
shall be the same as those used for peak toad calculations, except for the
outside temperatures.
Exception: Water economizers using air - cooled heat rejection
equipment may use a 35 ° F dry-bulb outside air temperature for
this calculation. This exception is limited to a maximum of 20 tons
per building.

1413.3 Integrated Operation: Air economizers shall be capable of
providing partial cooling even when additional mechanical cooling is
required to meet the remainder of the cooling load.
Exceptions:
1. Individual, direct expansion units that have a rated capacity
less than 65,000 Btu/h and use nonintegrated economizer
controls that preclude simultaneous operation of the
economizer and mechanical cooling.
2. Water - cooled water chillers with waterside economizer.
1413.4 Humidification: If an air economizer is required on a cooling
system for which humidification equipment is to be provided to maintain
minimum indoor humidity levels, then the humidifier shall be of the
adiabatic type (direct evaporative media or fog atomization type).
Exceptions:
1. Health care facilities where WAC 246 - 320 -525 allows only
steam injection humidifiers in ductwork downstream of final
filters. 1412.6 Combustion Heating Equipment Controls:
Combustion heating equipment with a capacity over 225,000
Btu/h shall have modulating or staged combustion control.
2. Systems with water economizer
3. 100% outside air systems with no provisions for air
recirculation to the central supply fan.
4. Nonadiabatic humidifiers cumulatively serving no more than
10% of a building's air economizer capacity as measured in
cfm. This refers to the system cfm serving rooms with stand
alone or duct mounted humidifiers.
1414 Ducting Systems
1414.1 Sealing: Duct work which is designed to operate at pressures
above 1/2 inch water column static pressure shall be sealed in accordance
with Standard RS -18. Extent of sealing required is as follows:
1. Static pressure: 1/2 inch to 2 inches; seal transverse joints.
2. Static pressure: 2 inches to 3 inches; seal all transverse joints
and longitudinal seams.
3. Static pressure: above 3 inches; seal all transverse joints,
longitudinal seams and duct wall penetrations.
Duct tape and other pressure sensitive tape shall not be used as the
primary sealant where ducts are designed to operate at static pressures of
1 inch W.C. or greater.
1414.2 Insulation: Ducts and plenums that are constructed and function
as part of the building envelope, by separating interior space from exterior
space, shall meet all applicable requirements of Chapter 13. These
requirements include insulation installation, moisture control, air leakage,
and building envelope insulation levels. Unheated equipment rooms with
combustion air louvers must be isolated from the conditioned space by
insulating interior surfaces to a minimum of R -11 and any exterior
envelope surfaces per Chapter 13. Outside air ducts serving individual
supply air units with less than 2,800 cfm of total supply air capacity shall be
insulated to a minimum of R -7 and are not considered building envelope
Other outside air duct runs are considered building envelope until they,
1. connect to the heating or cooling equipment, or
2. are isolated from the exterior with an automatic shut - off damper
complying with Section 1412.4.1.
Once outside air ducts meet the above listed requirements, any runs
within conditioned space shall comply with Table 14 -5 requirements.
Other ducts and plenums shall be thermally insulated per Table 14 -5.
Exceptions:
1. Within the HVAC equipment.
2, Exhaust air ducts not subject to condensation.
3. Exposed ductwork within a zone that serves that zone.
1415 Piping Systems
1415.1 Insulation: Piping shall be thermally insulated in accordance with
Table 14 -6.
Exception: Piping installed within unitary HVAC equipment.
Water pipes outside the conditioned space shall be insulated in
accordance with Washington State Plumbing Code (WAC 51 - 26)

THE SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS FOR THE
PROJECT ARE COMPLEMENTARY, AND PORTIONS OF
THE WORK DESCRIBED IN ONE, SHALL BE PROVIDED
AS IF DESCRIBED IN BOTH. IN THE EVENT OF
DISCREPANCIES, NOTIFY THE ENGINEER AND /OR
OWNER AND REQUEST CLARIFICATION PRIOR TO
PROCEEDING WITH THE WORK INVOLVED.
15A 1 -2 INSPECTION OF SITE
PRIOR TO SUBMITTING BID, VISIT THE SITE OF THE
PROPOSED WORK AND BECOME FULLY INFORMED AS
TO THE CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH THE WORK IS TO
BE DONE. FAILURE TO DO 50 WILL NOT BE
CONSIDERED SUFFICIENT JUSTIFICATION TO REQUEST
OR OBTAIN EXTRA COMPENSATION OVER AND ABOVE

15A 1 -3 MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP
PROVIDE NEW MATERIAL, EQUIPMENT, AND APPARATUS
UNDER THIS CONTRACT UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED
HEREIN, OF BEST QUALITY NORMALLY USED FOR THE
PURPOSE IN GOOD COMMERCIAL PRACTICE, AND FREE
FROM ANY DEFECTS. MODEL NUMBERS LISTED IN THE
SPECIFICATIONS OR SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS ARE
NOT NECESSARILY INTENDED TO DESIGNATE THE
REQUIRED TRIM, WRITTEN DESCRIPTIONS OF THE TRIM
GOVERN MODEL NUMBERS.
WORK PERFORMED UNDER THIS CONTRACT SHALL
PROVIDE A NEAT AND "WORKMANLIKE" APPEARANCE
WHEN COMPLETED, TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE
ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER. WORKMANSHIP SHALL BE
THE FINEST POSSIBLE BY EXPERIENCED MECHANICS.
INSTALLATIONS SHALL COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE
CODES AND LAWS.
THE COMPLETE INSTALLATION SHALL FUNCTION AS
DESIGNED AND INTENDED WITH RESPECT TO
EFFICIENCY, CAPACITY, NOISE LEVEL, ETC. ABNORMAL
NOISE CAUSED BY RATTLING EQUIPMENT, PIPING,
DUCTS, AIR DEVICES, AND SQUEAKS IN ROTATING
COMPONENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE. IN GENERAL,
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT SHALL BE OF
COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATION GRADE IN QUALITY.
LIGHT DUTY AND RESIDENTIAL TYPE EQUIPMENT WILL
NOT BE ACCEPTED.
REMOVE FROM THE PREMISES WASTE MATERIAL
PRESENT AS A RESULT OF WORK, INCLUDING
CARTONS, CRATING, PAPER, STICKERS, AND /OR
EXCAVATION MATERIAL NOT USED IN BACKFILLING,
ETC. CLEAN EQUIPMENT INSTALLED UNDER THIS
CONTRACT TO PRESENT A NEAT AND CLEAN
INSTALLATION AT THE TERMINATION OF THE WORK.
REPAIR OR REPLACE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE PROPERTY
DAMAGED AS A RESULT OF WORK PERFORMED UNDER
THIS CONTRACT TO THE SATISFACTION OF
AUTHORITIES AND REGULATIONS HAVING JURISDICTION.
15A 1 -4 COORDINATION
COORDINATE WORK WITH THAT OF OTHER TRADES 50
THAT THE VARIOUS COMPONENTS OF THE SYSTEMS
WILL BE INSTALLED AT THE PROPER TIME, WILL FIT
THE AVAILABLE SPACE, AND WILL ALLOW PROPER
SERVICE ACCESS TO THOSE ITEMS REQUIRING
MAINTENANCE. COMPONENTS WHICH ARE INSTALLED
WITHOUT REGARD TO THE ABOVE SHALL BE
RELOCATED AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE OWNER.
UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED, THE GENERAL
CONTRACTOR WILL PROVIDE CHASES AND OPENINGS IN
BUILDING CONSTRUCTION REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION
OF THE SYSTEMS SPECIFIED HEREIN. CONTRACTOR
SHALL FURNISH THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR WITH
INFORMATION WHERE CHASES AND OPENINGS ARE
REQUIRED. KEEP INFORMED AS TO THE WORK OF
OTHER TRADES ENGAGED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF
THE PROJECT, AND EXECUTE WORK IN A MANNER AS
TO NOT INTERFERE WITH OR DELAY THE WORK OF
OTHER TRADES.
FIGURED DIMENSIONS SHALL BE TAKEN IN PREFERENCE
TO SCALE DIMENSIONS. CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE
HIS OWN MEASUREMENTS AT THE BUILDING, AS
VARIATIONS MAY OCCUR. CONTRACTOR WILL BE HELD
RESPONSIBLE FOR ERRORS THAT COULD HAVE BEEN

15A 1 -5 ORDINANCES AND CODES
WORK PERFORMED UNDER THIS CONTRACT SHALL, AT
A MINIMUM, BE IN CONFORMANCE WITH APPLICABLE
NATIONAL, STATE AND LOCAL CODES HAVING
JURISDICTION. EQUIPMENT FURNISHED AND
ASSOCIATED INSTALLATION WORK PERFORMED UNDER
THIS CONTRACT SHALL BE IN STRICT COMPLIANCE
WITH CURRENT APPLICABLE CODES ADOPTED BY THE
LOCAL AHJ INCLUDING ANY AMENDMENTS AND
STANDARDS AS SET FORTH BY THE NATIONAL FIRE
PROTECTION ASSOCIATION (NFPA), UNDERWRITERS
LABORATORIES (UL), OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND
HEALTH ADMINISTRATION (OSHA), AMERICAN SOCIETY
OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS (ASME), AMERICAN
SOCIETY OF HEATING, REFRIGERATION, AND AIR
CONDITIONING ENGINEERS (ASHRAE), AMERICAN
NATIONAL STANDARDS INSTITUTE (ANSI), AMERICAN
SOCIETY OF TESTING MATERIALS (ASTM) AND OTHER
NATIONAL STANDARDS AND CODES WHERE
APPLICABLE. WHERE THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
EXCEED THE REQUIREMENTS OF THEIR REFERENCED
CODES, STANDARDS, ETC., THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS

PROCURE AND PAY FOR PERMITS AND LICENSES

15A 1 -6 PROTECTION OF EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS
STORE AND PROTECT FROM DAMAGE EQUIPMENT AND
MATERIALS DELIVERED TO JOB SITE. COVER WITH
WATERPROOF, TEAR— RESISTANT, HEAVY TARP OR
POLYETHYLENE PLASTIC AS REQUIRED TO PROTECT
FROM PLASTER, DIRT, PAINT, WATER, OR PHYSICAL
DAMAGE. EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL THAT HAS BEEN
DAMAGED BY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES WILL BE
REJECTED, AND CONTRACTOR IS OBLIGATED TO
FURNISH NEW EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL OF A LIKE
KIND.
KEEP PREMISES ROOM CLEAN FROM FOREIGN
MATERIAL CREATED DURING WORK PERFORMED UNDER
THIS CONTRACT. PIPING, EQUIPMENT, ETC., SHALL
HAVE A NEAT AND CLEAN APPEARANCE AT THE
TERMINATION OF THE WORK.
PLUG OR CAP OPEN ENDS OF DUCTWORK AND PIPING
SYSTEMS WHILE STORED OR INSTALLED DURING
CONSTRUCTION WHEN NOT IN USE TO PREVENT THE
ENTRANCE OF DEBRIS INTO THE SYSTEMS.
KEEP THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDED PROTECTIVE
COVERINGS ON FLOOR DRAINS, FLOOR SINKS, AND
TRENCH DRAINS DURING CONSTRUCTION. REMOVE
COVERINGS AT THE TERMINATION OF THE WORK AND
POLISH EXPOSED SURFACES.
15A 1 -7 OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
COLLECT AND COMPILE A COMPLETE BROCHURE OF
FIXTURES, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT FURNISHED
AND INSTALLED ON THIS PROJECT. INCLUDE
OPERATIONAL AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS,
MANUFACTURER'S CATALOG SHEETS, WIRING DIAGRAMS.
PARTS LISTS, APPROVED SHOP DRAWINGS, AND
DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE FURNISHED BY THE
MANUFACTURER. INCLUDE AN INSIDE COVER SHEET
THAT LISTS THE PROJECT NAME, DATE, OWNER,
ARCHITECT, ENGINEER, GENERAL CONTRACTOR,
SUBCONTRACTOR, AND AN INDEX OF CONTENTS.
SUBMIT COPIES OF LITERATURE BOUND IN APPROVED
BINDERS TO THE ARCHITECT AND OWNER AT THE
TERMINATION OF THE WORK. PAPER CLIPS, STAPLES,
RUBBER BANDS, AND MAILING ENVELOPES ARE NOT
CONSIDERED APPROVED BINDERS. FINAL APPROVAL
OF PLUMBING SYSTEMS WILL BE WITHHELD UNTIL THIS
EQUIPMENT BROCHURE IS DEEMED COMPLETE BY THE
ARCHITECT, ENGINEER, AND OWNER.
15A 1-8 WARRANTIES
WARRANT EACH SYSTEM AND EACH ELEMENT THEREOF
AGAINST ALL DEFECTS DUE TO FAULTY WORKMANSHIP,
DESIGN OR MATERIAL FOR A PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS
FROM DATE OF SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION, UNLESS
SPECIFIC ITEMS ARE NOTED TO CARRY A LONGER
WARRANTY IN THE CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS OR
MANUFACTURER'S STANDARD WARRANTY EXCEEDS 12
MONTHS. REMEDY ALL DEFECTS, OCCURRING WITHIN
THE WARRANTY PERIOD(S), AS STATED IN THE
GENERAL CONDITIONS AND DIVISION 1.
WARRANTIES SHALL INCLUDE LABOR AND MATERIAL.
MAKE REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENTS WITHOUT ANY

THE GROUND JOINT TYPE. MAKE ALLOWANCE FOR
EXPANSION AND CONTRACTION WHERE REQUIRED BY
THE INSTALLATION. WHERE WATER PIPING OCCURS IN

15C 1 -4 EXTERIOR UTILITY CONNECTIONS
TERMINATE DOMESTIC WATER, STORM, AND SEWER
LINES AT A POINT APPROXIMATELY FIVE FEET FROM
THE BUILDING WALL, OR AS SHOWN ON THE
DRAWINGS. MAKE CONNECTION TO THE VARIOUS
SERVICES PROVIDED BY OTHERS AND COORDINATE
CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS WITH CIVIL ENGINEER.
VERIFY THAT INSTALLATION WILL 11E INTO THE
VARIOUS SERVICED PROVIDED BY OTHERS AT THE
INDICATED INVERT ELEVATION POINT PRIOR TO
INSTALLATION. IF THE INSTALLATION WILL NOT TIE
INTO THE INDICATED INVERT ELEVATION POINT WHILE
MAINTAINING PROPER FALL, NOTIFY ARCHITECT AND

15C 1 -5 SYSTEM TESTING AND ADJUSTING
UPON COMPLETION OF EACH PHASE OF THE
INSTALLATION, TEST EACH SYSTEM IN CONFORMANCE
WITH LOCAL CODE REQUIREMENTS AND AS NOTED
BELOW. FURNISH LABOR AND EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
TO TEST PLUMBING WORK INSTALLED UNDER THIS
CONTRACT, AND ASSUME COSTS INVOLVED IN MAKING
THE TESTS, AND REPAIRING AND /OR REPLACING
DAMAGE RESULTING THEREFROM.
NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT AND THE AUTHORITY HAVING
JURISDICTION, THREE (3) WORKING DAYS PRIOR TO
MAKING PLUMBING SYSTEM TESTS. LEAVE CONCEALED
WORK UNCOVERED UNTIL THE REQUIRED TESTS HAVE
BEEN COMPLETED, BUT IF NECESSARY DUE TO
CONSTRUCTION PROCEDURE, TESTS ON PORTIONS OF
THE WORK MAY BE MADE, AND WHEN SATISFACTORY,
THE WORK MAY BE CONCEALED. TEST PIPING BEFORE
INSULATION IS INSTALLED, AND BEFORE BACKFILL.
PIPES, JOINTS, FLANGES, VALVE STEMS, ETC., SHALL
BE LEAK TIGHT. REPAIR OR REPLACE SYSTEM
DEFECTS WITH NEW MATERIALS. CAULKING OF
DEFECTIVE JOINTS, CRACKS OR HOLES WILL NOT BE
PERMITTED. REPEAT TESTS AFTER DEFECTS HAVE
BEEN ELIMITATED. MAKE TESTS IN THE PRESENCE OF
THE ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITY AND /OR THE
OWNER'S AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE.
15C 1 -6 GUARANTEE
THE WORK TO BE PERFORMED UNDER THIS CONTRACT
SHALL INCLUDE THE FURNISHING, INSTALLATION, AND
CONNECTION OF PLUMBING SYSTEMS INDICATED ON
THE DRAWINGS AND IN THE SPECIFICATIONS. BY
SIGNING THE CONTRACT, THE CONTRACTOR
ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE HAS ACQUAINTED HIMSELF
WITH THE SITE AND THE EXISTING CONDITIONS UNDER
WHICH THE WORK IS TO BE PERFORMED, AND THE
DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS PERTAINING THERETO,
AND HE INDICATES THAT HE WILL COMPLY WITH THE
REQUIREMENTS AND INTENT OF PERTINENT DOCUMENTS
IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WORK.
GUARANTEE THAT THE PLUMBING INSTALLED UNDER
THIS CONTRACT IS FREE OF DEFECTS IN
WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS FOR A PERIOD OF ONE
(1) YEAR FROM THE DATE OF JOB ACCEPTANCE BY
THE OWNER. THIS SHALL INCLUDE A GUARANTEE OF
FREE CIRCULATION OF LIQUIDS THROUGHOUT THE
SYSTEM AS INTENDED WITHOUT LEAKS, EXCESSIVE
NOISE, OR WATER HAMMER.
IF DEFECTS OCCUR DURING THE ONE YEAR
GUARANTEE PERIOD, REPAIR OR REPLACE SUCH
DEFECTS AT NO EXPENSE TO THE OWNER, AND TO
THE SATISFACTION OF THE OWNER, ARCHITECT AND
ENGINEER.
