These devices shall be separately zoned in the alarm panel and local U.L. central station supervision is required. (City Ordinance #2051) 12: H.V.A.C. systems supplying air in excess of 2,000 cubic feet per minute to enclosed spaces within buildings shall be equipped with an automatic shutoff. Automatic shutoff shall be accomplished by interrupting the power source of the air- moving equipment upon detection of smoke in the main return-air duct served by such equipment. Smoke detectors shall be labeled by an approved agency for air -duct installation and shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions. WORK PERFORMED UNDER THIS CONTRACT SHALL PROVIDE A NEAT AND "WORKMANLIKE" APPEARANCE WHEN COMPLETED, TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER. WORKMANSHIP SHALL BE THE FINEST POSSIBLE BY EXPERIENCED MECHANICS. INSTALLATIONS SHALL COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE CODES AND LAWS. THE COMPLETE INSTALLATION SHALL FUNCTION AS DESIGNED AND INTENDED WITH RESPECT TO EFFICIENCY, CAPACITY, NOISE LEVEL, ETC. ABNORMAL NOISE CAUSED BY RATTLING EQUIPMENT, PIPING, DUCTS, AIR DEVICES, AND SQUEAKS IN ROTATING COMPONENTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE.
