The sanitary/vent plan on sheet P -I does not have individual vents for each fixture. There are some characteristics of a combination waste and vent system however there are some deficiencies as well. The vents would need to be downstream of the most remote fixtures for each system: Cleanouts are not shown. See revised Sheet P -1, vents added with cleanouts. 2. The tenant specific grease interceptor would need special approval from our Publics Works Dept.. There are mall grease interceptors that may be available to connect to food court tenants. Other Fixtures would need to drain through the grease interceptor minus dishwasher, hand sinks and food waste disposers. a. We are connecting to mall grease interceptor, see note 4 sheet P -I, plans revised. 3. Revise your plumbing plan per attached mark -up. Plan shows an inside grease interceptor under the three compartment sink, however PW was informed that Subway shall connect to an existing outside grease interceptor per Marcia Peddicord @ (206) 802 -6071. See attached e-mail. This mark -up shall be returned to the City with your revision resubmittal. a. We are connecting to mall grease interceptor, see note 4 sheet P -1, plans revised. The maximum length of a trap arm for a 3 inch floor drain is 6 ft. per table 10 -1 UPC. One of your floor drains exceeds this limit. Please revise as necessary. 2. Fixture SS -1 still does not show a vent. Please add. 3. Typically, floor sinks should be routed to the grease waste as required by our Public Works Department. It is difficult to tell what types of equipment are draining into each receptacle and therefore difficult to determine if it should go to the grease waste or not. Please add an equipment schedule and some way of cross - referencing it to the drainage plan. Dishwashers and food waste disposers do not connect to the grease waste per section 1014.1.3 UPC. 4. Please address the following comments in an itemized format with revised plans, specifications and /or other applicable documentation. (GENERAL NOTE) PLAN SUBMITTALS: (Min. size 11x17 to maximum size of 24x36; all sheets shall be the same size). (If applicable) Structural Drawings and structural calculations sheets shall be original signed wet stamped, not copied.) 1. The sanitary/vent plan on sheet P -1 does not have individual vents for each fixture. There are some characteristics of a combination waste and vent system however there are some deficiencies as well. The vents would need to be downstream of the most remote fixtures for each system. Cleanouts are not shown. 2. The tenant specific grease interceptor would need special approval from our Publics Works Dept.. There are mall grease interceptors that may be available to connect to food court tenants. Other Fixtures would need to drain through the grease interceptor minus dishwasher, hand sinks and food waste disposers. Should there be questions concerning the above requirements, contact the Building Division at 206 -431- 3670. No further comments at this time.
